SFGH Partner Matthew Schiff Co-Authors "Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Injury in the Workplace: Paths to Recovery In and Outside of Workers Compensation"
SFGH partner Matthew Schiff co-authored the article entitled "Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Injury in the Workplace: Paths to Recovery In and Outside of Workers Compensation" appearing in the Fall 2020 American Bar Association Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Newsletter. The article addresses whether individuals can pursue their workplace sexual harassment and assault cases through civil law suits—tort and civil rights based—or if their claims are exclusively governed by state workers’ compensation statute. The article is a survey of this legal intersection across all 50 states. SFGH law clerk Clare McKeown contributed significantly to the research and writing of this article.
