SFGH Partner Jonathan P. Friedland spoke at a recent West LegalEd Center webinar titled "Purchase Order Finance."
SFGH is pleased to announce that on March 21, 2018, Jonathan P. Friedland spoke at a West LegalEd Center webinar titled "Purchase Order Finance."
Purchase-order financing (PO financing) is designed to extend credit to a company that needs cash quickly to fill a customer order. A company may operate with such a small amount of working capital that it cannot afford to pay the for the cost of producing a customer’s order. PO financing enables such company to not turn away business, by borrowing from a lender using the purchase order itself as collateral to support a loan.
This webinar explained when PO financing may be a good fit for some companies; common terms and conditions of such financing; how to successfully negotiate said terms; and how it co-exists with other forms of financing and potential financial alternatives.
