On April 15, 2016 the Chicago Booth’s Social Enterprise Initiative hosted the 2016 On Board Conference in Chicago, Illinois. On Board spoke to varying levels of professional expertise and present solutions and best practices for issues common among nonprofit organizations and their associated board of directors. Ronald Grais served on a panel entitled “Keys to Evolving Your Board: Driving long-term success,” discussed how to recognize the life stages of your board and how to guide it from founding board to fundraising board, advisory board to strategic board, and when and how to start a junior or associate board for your organization.
