Richard Sugar publishes latest article as monthly columnist with Pioneer Press, entitled “Young LFHS entrepreneurs are poised for success”
Richard Sugar currently serves as a regular columnist with the Pioneer Press, authoring a monthly column on issues involving money, taxes and the law, entitled, “A Spoonful of Sugar-Tastings of Money, Taxes and the Law.” Richard’s most recent article, published on May 7, 2015, is entitled “Young LFHS entrepreneurs are poised for success,” and describes an entrepreneurship class offered at Lake Forest High School where teams of juniors develop and manufacture a prototype with the assistance of mentors and coaches from the community. At the end of the semester, students present their products during a “shark tank” styled program in the hopes of launching their business during their senior year. The Pioneer Press is a weekly newspaper published by the Chicago Tribune which customizes editions particular to several Chicago suburban markets.
