Richard Sugar publishes article as monthly columnist with Pioneer Press, entitled "The Trouble with Shopping In-Store Versus Online"
Richard Sugar currently serves as a regular columnist with the Pioneer Press, authoring a monthly column on issues related to finances, taxes and the law, entitled, "A Spoonful of Sugar." Richard's fourth article, published on March 6, 2014, was entitled, "The Trouble with Shopping In-Store Versus Online," and addressed the conflict between on-line retailers and bricks-and-mortars retailers, which is coming to a head this year. The Pioneer Press is a weekly newspaper published by the Sun Times which customizes editions particular to several Chicago suburban markets. Richard's column has previously addressed gifting to charities, examining the impact of new laws in 2014, and comparing sales tax rates in the Chicagoland area.
