On October 29, 2015, Mark Melickian presented “A Summary of Recommendations for Small or Medium Sized Enterprise Cases from the Report of the ABI Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11 (2012-2014)” at the 8th Circuit Federal Bar Association Program. The Report of the ABI Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11, published after three years of study, took up the challenge of reviewing the impact of the existing “small business case” provisions of the Bankruptcy Code and Rules, and made a series of recommendations they deemed “recommended principles.”
