Julie Pleshivoy co-presents "To Trust or Not to Trust - That is the Question" at Chicago Estate Planning Council event
On September 30, 2015, Julie Pleshivoy co-presented “To Trust or Not to Trust – That is the Question” at the Lake Zurich Public Library on behalf of Chicago Estate Planning Council, Public Outreach Committee about the basics of trusts and their use in estate planning. Julie reviewed the default Illinois rules and explained the mechanics of a revocable trust, its use in estate planning and its tax implications. Julie also discussed irrevocable trust structures, the purposes they serve and their tax implications.
