Etahn Cohen lectures at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management on health information technology contracts
On April 16, 2013, Etahn Cohen lectured to students in the Health Information Technology class at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management about key issues in health information technology contracts. He discussed how the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) privacy, security and data breach rules impact all aspect of healthcare information technology contracting. He also examined contractual strategies and provisions to limit, allocate and control risk in light of the regulatory scrutiny and potential liability associated with healthcare related information technology.
